Policies
Reservation Deposits and Payment Methods
Reservations require a credit card or advance deposit of the guaranteed stay amount. We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover and Cash. Checks accepted at check-in with valid, pre-authorized credit card on file. Cash deposits will be refunded at check-out after room inspection.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellations are required 48 hours (2 days) prior to the arrival date and are subject to a 20% cancellation fee. Cancellation after 48 hours will forfeit one night room plus tax.
No Smoking
All rooms and lobby are NO SMOKING. Smoking in a guest room will result in forfeiture of entire deposit plus any other damage to room. Seating and receptacles are located outside most guest rooms for your convenience.
Pets
Who doesn’t love to travel with their pet? We certainly do, and are delighted to welcome our canine guests to the Maverick Inn.
To accommodate our “non-pet guests”, however, we ask that you follow these guidelines. Please leash your dog at all times. Pets are permitted in guest rooms and out of doors. We ask that they do not visit the Inn’s common areas. Pets should not be left unattended when you leave the Inn for the day. When pets are left unattended during dining and relaxing time at the Inn, they should be crated. The Maverick Inn reserves the right to ask any disruptive dogs to leave and a local kennel or pet sitter will be recommended.
There is a $30 pet fee per stay added to the room rate. In addition, if there is damage to the room or excessive cleaning is needed after a pet stay, the Inn reserves the right to charge up to $250 to be used towards necessary cleaning and repair.
Telephone/Internet Access/Fax Service
There are no telephones in the guest rooms. Telephone service is available in the lobby for local calls. Long Distance requires a credit or calling card. Wireless internet access available at no charge in the guest rooms and lobby. There is a computer, printer and internet at the “desk” in the lobby. Fax Service is also available. There is NO CHARGE for these services.
Keys
A maximum of 2 keys per guest room will be issued. Lost or keys not returned will be assessed a $50.00 fee to re-key the guest room.
Guest Rooms
Please respect the occupancy limit of each guest room. Appointments in the guest rooms are outlined on the room inventory located in the Guest Directory. Please take a moment to make sure all appointments are present. If there is an item missing, please advise the Front Desk IMMEDIATELY to avoid any charges to your account.
Pool/Common Areas
Hours of operation are posted in the pool area. No loud music or other loud behavior after 10:00 p.m. If you wish to have a gathering in the pool or common areas, advance notice is required.
